2006 Skoda Octavia RS

The RS model is equipped with a modified exhaust sound system which enhances the dynamic appearance.

The car is also provided with a standard 6-gear manual transmission that transmits the output to the wheels smoothly and clearly.

The lowered sports chassis ensures the car’s lively driving characteristic.

The car’s sporting appearance is ensured by the front and rear bumper with an integrated spoiler, the rear bumper with “cat’s eyes” reflectors, the spoiler on the 5th door on the hatchback, Zenith 17 alloy wheels, along with the chrome plated double tailpipe.

The vehicle’s sports interior features sports seats in a black-silver combination, Alu-Look RS trim on the instrument panel and door panels, an original three-spoke steering wheel along with a black ceiling upholstery.

Its green brake calipers and the RS emblem on the radiator grille, the 5th door, the steering wheel, the front and rear seats are some details that make the Octavia RS be unique and exclusive. This exclusivity is also given by Zenith 18 alloy wheels that are optional along with the completely new Race Blue and Sprint Yellow metallic colors.

World debut: Skoda Octavia RS

When presented last week the professionals asked if and when Skoda Octavia RS sports version would be launched. Being a useful and full-value with an excellent engine, lowered chassis and sports charisma, the new Octavia RS can make the adrenaline flow every time the accelerator is pressed.

Exterior

The new Octavia has a dynamic and robust shape with clearly-defined lines. Great attention was given to the rear section. The rear lights now extend all the way to the sides of the body.

Nothing disturbs the harmonious and smooth lines. The door handles, mirrors and the protective side strips are in the body color. The front section is dominated by the robust bumper with an integrated spoiler. The projector halogen headlamps are another distinguish feature of the front section. To dispense light on the road the halogen headlamps use an optical system rather than a reflector, like xenon headlights.

The driving enthusiasm, intelligent functionality, technology and luxury are clearly in evidence in the all-new exterior design. The front and rear bumper with an integrated spoiler, a rear bumper with Cat’s eyes reflectors, a spoiler on the 5th door, Zeniths 17 alloy wheels – all these are the available technology package which integrates the new Octavia into the performance – oriented driving environment.

The rear section is dominated by the new bumper which further emphasis the dynamic design and improve visibility especially at night. The hatchback is equipped with an eye-catching fifth door spoiler. The normal estate has an elegant standard spoiler.

The sporty design and overall dynamic character of the car is provided by the attractive Zenith 17 alloy wheels, whereas the Zenith 18 wheels are optional. The green disc brake calipers are visible through the spokers of the wheel displaying which is another feature of Skoda RS sports models.

Beside the new exclusive Race Blue and Sprint Yellow colors, other 3 attractive colors are available: silver-diamond metallic, Corrida Red and Magic Black.

The newly designed RS emblem on the 5th door and the radiator grill which is a winged arrow logo, enhances the car’s uniqueness and originality.
